This is what Giuseppe Gambardella, founder of Speed Date, said to the press agency Adnkronos.

“The first type of cruise is the 8 days / 7 nights to France-Spain-Morocco, then come Greece-Turkey and finally the Balearic Islands”, explained Gambardella, “thanks also to the strong marketing activities, cruises are replacing holiday villages”. But the villages still resist, especially as far as Italian destinations are concerned: Stintino in Sardinia, Palinuro in Campania, Pugnochiuso in Puglia and the Costa Viola in Calabria. So singles prefer a relaxing holiday, that’s why they choose Hotels that also have a Spa inside”.

But what type of singles call a travel agency to book their holidays? “They are aged between 30 and 50, without any particular differences between men and women. Our clients do not belong to a specific social class, there are many people who do not have friends to go on holiday with or do not have time to organize themselves”, explained the founder of Speed Date. And he also said that “the most important thing in our job is not only to sell a holiday, but to organize it in detail, in order for the participants to feel at ease and fully express their emotions”.
