The Presidency of the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy passed from Mr. David Crackett to Mr.John J. Law at the Annual General Meeting on 24 th June 2010.John J. Law was born in Leicester on 7 th April 1958 and was educated at Ratcliffe College and theUniversity of Manchester, where he read English Language & Literature. He joined the Barclays Groupin 1980 where he became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

This award is made yearly by COBCOE, the Council of British Chambers in ContinentalEurope.Mr Law stated: “I am honoured to have been appointed President. I am taking over a well-establishedorganization, an excellent staff and a large group of high quality members.
