?As part of the raid on No TAV activists for a series of crimes in connection with incidents at events last summer in Val di Susa, police performed 25 preventive detention measures, 15 measures of compulsory residence, a detention order under house arrest and a measure prohibiting residence in the province of Turin Thursday.??

The cities' affected by the operation, which also touched France, are Turin, Asti, Milan, Trento, Palermo, Rome, Padua, Genoa, Pistoia, Cremona, Macerata, Biella, Bergamo, Parma and Modena.
 
 
Activists immediately started, on websites and social networks, to warn of police blitz against the No TAV arrests, taking  measures throughout Italy for the clashes in the Susa Valley on 27 June and 3 July at events around the area of construction site of the Lyon-Turin line.?? ??
