Five people died in a fire in Trapani, the victims were all family members. 40 year-old Pietro Fiorentino exterminated his family Thursday – 8 year-old daughter, ex-wife, mother-in-law and a disabled brother-in-law – set the apartment on fire  and then jumped from the window, dying instantly.

Firefighters immediately doubted it was an accidental fire when they arrived on the scene. Policemen were alerted by a call from a  passerby who saw Fiorentino committing suicide. After flames were extinguished, the gruesome discovery of four dead bodies.
