(essea) 2011 will be the "Year of Chinese culture in Italy". On the occasion, Sicily will organize an event whose first steps have been defined yesterday during the meeting among Wang Ya, general director of the  China national tourism administration, Mario Centorrino, regional assessor for Education, Training and Universities and the general managers Francesco Attaguile and Gesualdo Campo. On the basis of the agreement, Nino La Spina, director of the Institute for Foreign Trade in Beijing, has assured his support in the event organization.

 

Mrs Wang Ya has also invited President of Sicilian Region Raffaele Lombardo to visit the World Tourism Conference that will take place next November in Shanghai and Hainan island.
 

The graves of the Italian Jesuit missionaries who lived in Bejing during the 17th century have been homaged by the delegation today.
 

The Sicilian delegation continues the trip to China reaching important mutual plans of cooperation, with the purpose of establishing strong economic relations and cultural partnerships.
