Two years ago, Michael Jackson died in the UCLA Medical Center of Los Angeles. The controversial star from Indiana marked a change in music history from 70s up to now.
He divided critics, but drew together three generations of different people, loving and forgiving him.

Maybe “Thriller” is his most famous album. It didn’t bring him fame, but made him become one of the elite singers. It was a record album, even if still today nobody knows exactly how many copies were sold (maybe over 100 million copies). Anyway, it is the most sold album in history. “Thriller” sets another less famous but interesting record.

The song naming the album sold 6 million copies and its video is deemed to be a turning point in videos’ history. Up to that moment, music videos were used as something supporting songs. But “Thriller” video had got its own plot and choreography, that’s why it changed the concept of music videos.

It cost 500 thousand Dollars (a record cost in that period), and the record company decided to cushion expenses by selling a video’s “making of”: “Michael Jackson: the making of Thriller”. It was so successful that it became the most sold cassette ever – over 9 million copies.

Amongst zombies and werewolves, the video continues to be one of the most broadcasted on radios and TVs. There are three official versions of it: 13 minutes, 8 minutes and 7 minutes. Today we will show you the first and complete version. Since we are living through times like these, we are not afraid of zombies.
